A Pure Water System can invigorate your business and take it to the next level. Here are some tips on how you can make that a reality.
What’s your budget?
This is always an important question to ask, and it matters a whole lot when you are considering a big decision for your business. Here are some things to ask y ourself when you are figuring this out:
- How much will the unit generate in new jobs?
- How much will the unit save in labor?
- Can you service new types of accounts with a system?
- How quickly will profit cover the expense?
Depending on the answers to this question, leasing may even make sense if it can help you service some new clients quickly.
How will it work at a job site?
If you are considering a new pure water system, hopefully you have an idea of the clients you might use the system with. Assuming you do, here are some questions.
- Where is the water source?
- Can you leave the unit in your vehicle or do you need to take it out of the vehicle?
- How large is the job site? How far is it half way around the property (so you can get to the back)?
- Do you plan on using multiple poles to perform service?
What is the typical TDS for your area?
You need to get TDS down to 10 ppm in order to effectively clean windows. Otherwise, the water won’t do a good enough job getting that sparkly clean that will leave your clients happy.
Water can be purified for window cleaning using two different methods, multiple stage systems or DI only systems. Check your TDS at Zero Water.
If the TDS in your work area is above 150, you will be better served by a multi stage system. Less than 150, DI only systems make a great option.
How high do you need to reach?
Poles can reach just about any height, so the real question is how long a pole do you need to buy? Are there any special areas that are higher? With the latest technology of carbon fiber poles, heights can go as high as 50 feet or more. Many start at one height and have sections that can be added to reach even higher.

My brother and I have been planning to build a water well and develop it to a water system. We planned to use this as a water source for our pool first and later expand it to a small water system business. It’s very informative when you mentioned that we should always see as to how quickly the profit will cover the expenses. I think this is very necessary to avoid losses. I will consider this tip when we decide to put up the business. Thanks.
